Hello, I’m Eva Chan
I'm a Houdini FX artist and CG generalist with full-pipeline experience spanning Houdini FX simulations (pyro, fire, fluid, cloth, RBD, particles), lookdev, compositing in Nuke, and real-time VFX in Unreal Engine 5 using Niagara and Blueprints.
Before moving into VFX, I spent several years in Taiwan as a film and commercial producer, managing budgets, directing crews, and taking projects from preproduction through final delivery for clients including ASUS, Garena, and Riot Games. That production background shapes how I work: I understand schedules, pipelines, and collaboration across departments, not just the software.
I hold an MFA in Visual Effects from SCAD, with studio project experience alongside Harbor Picture Company and The Mill. I'm equally interested in simulation-driven roles outside entertainment, including real-time visualization, technical art, and industrial or synthetic data pipelines.
Outside of CG, I'm usually outdoors: hiking, exploring new places, or chasing light with a camera. Photography keeps me thinking about composition and color in ways that quietly feed back into my work.
