cropping of painting, inset. Can start feeling the story. In shot 01, thinner and smaller picture frame. Work on the framing in the shot.
all – are we inside the gallery? check perspective, doesn’t read correctly, is this industrial museum? look at references. Hard to tell where we are? are we inside of the gallery? check the perspective of the wall and how it relates to the character, something feels off. Industrial gallery? or a traditional clean museum? See how the character appears in the studio and appears in the painting, how does it look?
Shot 01, Check placement on shot C02? something still seems off in the perspective of this shot. Other big thing is to get a layout in all of the shots,. What is the studio going to look like? How does the character stand out from the background? Have studio
A02 she should be black and white until when? Whole world is black and white. Is the character part of the black and white world too? Why does she have color but not everything else. Confusion on the color transition, include in the edit. There would be 2 color transitions?

get studio in to other shots
check chair/table – feels off

FX – good – smoke is more interesting. FX have been looking nice.
knock the skittles back, perimeter of pyro. the skittles that are popping outside of the smoke are extra, knock those back a little bit to create a much more interesting effect. Just a suggestion.
thoughts on less voronoi color pattern?
Feels like a double action on cut to the next shot, trim a little but from that shot where the smoke is starting. Work on transitions and cut. Add another beat of the painting before the action starts? the placement feels double time
Adjustments I am going to do this week:
make the pyro go faster(increase vel) to avoid double actions
decrease the voronoi color pattern on particles
make the particles smaller
Pyro increase intensiy / Particles v controlled by pyro

Accelerating Pyro to Outpace Skittles and Prevent Double Actions
I tried two approaches to make the pyro move faster than the Skittles to avoid double actions. The first approach was to increase the velocity, and the second was to use a Time Blend to make the source appear faster than the Skittles.
V = 1
V = 2
V = 1 + timeblend delay 5 frames
set up timeblend to delay the source
Increasing the velocity causes the pyro to lose detail (the mushroom shape appears), but with the same dissipation, the intensity feels increased.
By using Time Blend to delay the source, the details are preserved, and the intensity increases, although it remains lower than when the velocity is doubled.
V = 1 + timeblend delay 8 frames
After testing these two methods, I believe it would be better to go with Time Blend, as it allows me to preserve the details. Additionally, you can see that the pyro moves in different directions at the end. If I simply double the velocity, I think the loss of detail makes the pyro look less interesting since it just goes in the same direction at the end.
decrease the voronoi color pattern on particles
For the particles, I plan to blur the edges between the colors since they currently look too sharp. I used a Rest node to store the original positions of the particles, added noise and a blur attribute, and then used the Rest node again to restore the original positions.
no noise no blur
+noise and blur
